Johnny Rodgers - Sarasota, Fl - February 2007

These are our wonderful pictures with the amazingly talented, Johnny Rodgers. We were lucky enough to meet him on both nights met Liza.

The top two were taken in Clear water and the bottom two, in Sarasota. He stood and chatted with us for a good 15 minutes and when we met him the second night, we were standing by the backstage doors, he came out and...

He came right over to us and gave us both a big hug and kiss. He is so charming and gorgeousand we felt very honoured to meet him. He had no problem posing for a couple of pictures.

And usually if you are in a stressful situation, if something is really bothering you, if you just sit down and take it easy and listen to so good music and look at the colors that are around you, you'll suddenly realize that you're not the most important thing in the world. And, 'Look around-keep your eyes open'."

"Most of the time it is fun being Liza. What aggravates me is when you read something about yourself that you haven't done or said. And you think 'Wow, how do people get away with doing that?'. Then there's the assumption that you don't have all the ordinary feelings that everybody else does. That you're not like everybody else, that you're special. When, in fact, you are not special, you just have a talent in a certain area, and you're lucky to have that talent. As far as everything else goes, you're exactly like everyone else."

"I like my fans. I think I would hate it without them. The only thing I do object to is that sometimes you go someplace and you can't do what you'd like to do when you get there, like the other night I was in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After the show we went to a discotheque, and for no reason at all there were so many security guards around me that it was impossible to get up and dance. And you know I love to dance. I didn't ask to be guarded. The people around you sometimes get carried away. They become overprotective and they can overprotect you right out of a good time. Also, the people who meet me under these circumstances never get to meet me. That's the part of it I don't like."
